# ToolAcre

> A set of small, single-purpose web tools that run entirely in your browser. No
accounts, no uploads, no tracking.

## Principles

- Each tool does one job and states plainly what it cannot do.
- Files and text are processed in the browser. No tool uploads your data to a ToolAcre server; there is no such server.
- 2 of 15 tools contact a third-party host by design, after an explicit action: Direct Media Downloader (https://toolacre.com/tools/media-downloader/); YouTube Thumbnail Downloader & Metadata Viewer (https://toolacre.com/tools/youtube/). Each states every request before it makes one.
- No account system, so there is nothing to sign up for and nothing to delete.
- Advertising and analytics are disabled in this build.
- No ratings, reviews, testimonials, user counts or download counts exist anywhere on this site.
