What that means in practice

Nothing it displays is a recommendation. It does not label any security as cheap or expensive, does not rate anything, and does not produce buy, sell or hold signals. Where it shows a difference between your model’s output and a price you typed, that is a subtraction you could have done yourself — not a judgement.

Valuation is uncertain by nature. Two careful analysts using the same method and the same public information routinely reach materially different conclusions, because the assumptions that drive a DCF are matters of judgement rather than fact.

Before acting on anything

Verify every input independently against primary sources such as audited financial statements and regulatory filings. A model built on a mistyped figure is confidently wrong.

Consider your own circumstances, including your tax position, time horizon and capacity to bear loss. This tool knows none of them.

Past performance and historical cash flow do not predict future results. A trailing figure is a starting point for a forecast, not evidence about the future.
