Article 01: Acceptance of Terms & Non-Custodial Nature
By opening, viewing, interacting with, or loading any component of the ToolAcre Web Applications, WebAssembly runtimes, or standalone client packages, you explicitly acknowledge and accept this legal instrument. If you do not agree to every clause, you must terminate your session and close your browser tab immediately.
Why Traditional Cloud SaaS Data Terms Do Not Apply
Unlike traditional cloud software vendors (who host databases, ingest payloads onto multi-tenant clusters, create automated backups, and reserve rights to analyze customer telemetry), ToolAcre operates on a purely Non-Custodial Architecture. When you paste JSON payloads, cryptographic keys, SQL dumps, or base64 streams into ToolAcre:
- Your data is never transmitted to, staged on, or received by ToolAcre physical or cloud servers.
- ToolAcre holds neither title, constructive custody, nor physical possession of your materials.
- All transformations occur within your computer's local memory heap via browser JavaScript engines and WebAssembly bytecodes.
Because no data leaves your browser sandbox during standard tool operations, traditional statutory data processor covenants (e.g., standard contractual clauses for cloud data import under GDPR Chapter V) are technically inapplicable to our compute operations.
